About

Lizzy Turner is a multi-disciplinary creative practitioner predominantely working in museums and heritage. She has a background in art, graphic design, and cultural heritage. Her research interests include how we create our sense of place and connect to our environment – whether that’s outside the front door or beyond the solar system. She also has an interest in building-related folk practices such as concealed shoes and textiles in buildings, the subject of her recent master’s thesis. Her work crosses over into visual media and textile mountmaking.
